Sandy Steps: Cleaner Shores

This project was inspired based on the number of debris collected on our shores. This has affected even fishermen's catch because it is reported that sometimes when local fishermen go to fishing and they cast their net they rather catch plastics instead of fishes. This is serious so I saw the need to embark on this project
The project was executed with scouts and the involvement of the community through their assemblyman and opinion leaders. This brought about the community engagement
The lessons learnt is that it very effective to engage the community. This help to sustain the project and the impact is felt
