Saka Wanabakti Mangrove Planting in Tidung Island

The existence of mangroves is essential for coastal ecosystems. One of their primary functions is to prevent abrasion and intrusion. Therefore, we feel compelled to participate in preserving these mangroves to safeguard the local coastal ecosystem.

This project was implemented by first conducting a briefing on-site. Then, we received training on proper mangrove planting techniques. We only implemented the training in the afternoon, waiting for the tide to recede.

Through this project, I realized how crucial mangroves are to coastal ecosystems. As young people, it's only right that we, as individuals, participate in mangrove conservation. Our contributions will have a significant impact on the conservation of the area.
