From Roads to Lhakhangs: A Service of Care
My motivation for this project was to make our community cleaner and more welcoming, to take care of sacred places like the lhakhangs, and to contribute positively to the environment. I also wanted to work together with my friends to make a meaningful difference in our surroundings.
I executed the project with my two friends by planning to clean the entire community, including the lhakhangs and roads. We moved section by section, picking up all kinds of waste like plastics and papers, and carefully disposed of everything in proper dustbins. We paid special attention to sacred areas and worked together as a team to make the community clean, safe, and welcoming for everyone.
Through this project, I learned the importance of teamwork and how much can be achieved when people work together. I also realized the value of keeping our community clean and respecting sacred spaces like lhakhangs. Additionally, I understood that small actions, like picking up waste, can make a big difference in creating a healthier and more welcoming environment. Finally, the project taught me a sense of responsibility and pride in contributing positively to the community.
