Public Awareness Work Camp on Land Slides
To improve the quality of life of hill tribes. To reduce the deaths of mountain dwellers due to landslides and to improve the quality of life of hill dwellers by informing them about natural disasters.
This project was implemented among the people living in the hills of Rangamati. And the project was completed by miking each of them, going door to door to discuss the dangers of living in the mountains and the benefits of alternative living and building a living in the plains.
More than 400 people have been sensitized about the dangers of mountain living in the project. And through the activities of the project, the hill communities have gained a greater understanding of the risks to their own lives as a result of living in the mountains and the damage they are facing to the environment through their activities.
From the project, I learned that hill towns are unable to deal with various disasters due to lack of practical knowledge on various issues and widespread lack of knowledge. They will be able to live a better life if they take various steps to gain knowledge and give them an idea about various issues like dealing with landslides and dealing with natural disasters.
