Preaching Religious Topic By Second Year Student of JSW Law School
As a part of the 3rd Semester module, the Choenju (Bodhicharya Avatara, Shantideva's exposition of how to engage in the conduct of a Bodhidattva), students of second year of JSW Law School spoke on five important religious discourse to 40 participants including Law Professors, Faculties, and the students of 1st and 3rd year.
The Five Religious Topics of the Session were:
1. ༼དལ་འབྱོར་རྙེད་དཀའ།༽ The difficulty of finding the freedoms and endowments for the life. (Tshering Dendup)
2. ༼སྐྱབས་འགྲོ་དང་དེ་གི་ཡན་ལག༽ Taking Refuge. It is about placing one's confidence in the Precious One's, the Three Jewels. (Passang Dorji)
3. ༼བྱང་ཆུབ་སེམས་བསྐྱེད་ཀྱི་ཕན་ཡོན།༽ Benefits and merits of developing bodhicitta, activation of the inner potential for enlightenment or cultivation of mental aspirations of supreme bodhicitta. (Karma Tenzin-Me)
4. ༼བཟོད་པ་བསྒོམ་པ།༽ Meditate on the virtue of forbearance and practicing patience. (Pasang Wangmo)
5. ༼སུན་འབྱིན་པའི་སྟོབས།༽ Strength to renounce the world, or power of disenchantment (i.e., with further wrong doing). (Namkha Lhamo)
