Plant Today, Protect Tomorrow
I was inspired by the Scout Promise and Law, which teach us to serve society and protect nature. Environment Day motivated me to take action for a greener future. I believe that planting trees is a simple but powerful way to protect biodiversity, reduce pollution, and make our planet healthier for future generations.
On the occasion of Environment Day, our Scout team organized a tree plantation drive in the school/community area. We selected suitable native saplings, prepared the planting site, and planted the trees using proper methods. After the plantation, we watered the saplings, installed protective guards where needed, and spread awareness among local people about the importance of trees and biodiversity. We also took a pledge to care for the planted saplings regularly to ensure their healthy growth.
Through this project, I learned the importance of tree plantation, teamwork, leadership, and environmental conservation. As a Scout, I realized that even small actions can create a positive impact on nature and the community.
