Photovoltaic system on Piazzole Scout Base
The Piazzole Scout Base began to exploit alternative energy years ago and has become almost completely independent from the point of view of electricity thanks to the use of photovoltaic panels
In 2023 , renovation work began on the so called Foyer , which consists of a couple of rooms historically used by members of the San Giorgio Foundation and now also intended to accommodate small groups or family units.
With great spirit of service, a series of Rovers and Rangers
helped to paint and finish the environment, which has now
been completed and this summer has already been able to host
a series of families of Caretaker Chiefs for the base.
A lot of young people learned to work on a structure destined to the Scout community.
