MoP McIntyre Horseriding School for the Disabled

Daniel is a member of Greenbank Scout Group, QLD. With his Scout Group and Leaders he has organised a morning tea for the McIntyre Horse Riding School to share the Messengers of Peace Badge Initiative. Currently 2 Scouts, 6 Cub Scouts and 1 Joey will be participating. The McIntyre Centre relies heavily on volunteers from the community and professional organisations to enable children with special needs of all degrees to access horse riding to assist with many aspects of medical, physical and emotional development. Daniels sister, Abbey, attends the McIntyre Centre for the past 2 years and has seen improvement in her strength and personal joy over this time. To give back to this organisation, Daniel suggested a morning tea for the volunteers. On the day we are attending, the morning tea will encompass a professional organisation and regular volunteers. It will be duty of the Scouts to ensure each volunteer is thanked and cared-for during the morning tea.
