Let's Feed a Hundred People....!
“If you can't feed a hundred people, then feed just one.” –Mother Teresa.
Feeding the hunger was the best feeling for me I can say. Their happiness and satisfaction which was coming out from their faces was the best thing we got by doing this drive.
I am thankful to work as a member of The Bharat Scouts & Guides, Operation Hope Kolkata and team for taking this kind initiative to stop the wastage of food and handed over us the left over food. Marking the fifth day of Daan Utsav - Joy of Giving Week all the foods have been distributed with the help of the volunteers among the people who are living on the streets and near by areas of Titagarh and barrackpore railway station under the campaign "Bacha to Bato."
We did the food drive near the station area of Titagarh and Khardah. We distributed in total 100 food packets among the people who were living there.
We did many food drives there but this was the best among all. Thank you so much to all the amazing volunteers of Pahchan Foundation for your support for the distribution of left over food.
