Junk Collection 2022
A Vast Amount of junk has been disposing of in Pakistan per day. It's better to reuse, recycle the junk and dispose of in a better place instead of burning it. Ismaili Karimabad Boys Scouts arrange the Annual Junk Collection 2022(Phase 1).
A total of 40-45 Scouts participated with 8 leaders to supervise the Junk Collection Activity. Where we target around 200 families around the community. It's a house-to-house activity where we ask for the junk that is not in their use and creates awareness about the 3Rs(Recycle, Reduce and Reuse). Then The junk was sold to a junk dealer in order to raise money for donations/charity.
The Impacts of the projects include raising awareness regarding the 3Rs(Reduce, Reused, Recycle) in around 200 families and raising awareness in scouts regarding charity, Social Service, and reducing plastic. We also raised Money for Donation/Charity by selling junk.
