Growing Leaders, One Tree at a Time
What inspired the Scouts to start this project was the powerful drive to restore and protect our local environment. Seeing the need to green Tagum City, the Scouts, along with community partners, united with passion and purpose to plant 669 trees—turning challenges into a shared commitment for a healthier, greener future.
Scouts and leaders worked closely together, dividing tasks like collecting wildlings and planting trees along the riverbank. Despite challenges like heat and rough terrain, teamwork and careful supervision ensured each tree was properly planted. This united effort made the reforestation a success and a great learning experience for all.
From this project, they learned the power of teamwork and perseverance in overcoming challenges. They realized that dedication and careful planning are key to making a lasting environmental impact. Most importantly, they saw how collective action can truly help restore and protect nature for future generations.
