Education: A key to the future
We were driven by a passion to advance the Scout Association of Nigeria's mission of youth development and community engagement, directly supporting Sustainable Development Goal 4: Quality Education. Through engaging activities like debates, spoken words, art competition and panel discussions, we aimed to ignite a passion for learning, foster civic responsibility, and empower the next generation of leaders in Isoko south and Nigeria at large.
We kicked off by securing vital approval from the Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education. Next, we invited selected secondary schools, while our Scout Boys and Girls diligently prepared for their ceremonial duties. We were delighted to host the event at the Delta State University Engineering Faculty. To ensure fairness, we recruited impartial judges from the community. Finally, we prepared meaningful awards for all participants.
We learnt that education is the solution to Ignorance.
