Community Leadership in Action

To provide each and every household in our community someone with basic emergency knowledge to bridge the gap since accidents happens anytime, and emergency services it takes time to respond at times, so at least when there can be someone to perform basic emergency skills while waiting for help.
We prepared a proposal to seek support from institutions and stakeholders for our upcoming camp, focusing on securing essentials like food, tents, cooking gear, and security. Social media was our key marketing tool, though we also needed branding support. The campsite had been identified and only required a deposit. By one month before the camp, 70% of the logistics and materials were secured, allowing us to begin compiling the camp program.
At Future Leaders Camp, we learned to empower youth with practical and emergency skills, tailor motivation strategies to individuals, and plan early with clear task roles to ensure success.
