Cleanliness Drive & Awareness Drive
We were inspired after noticing how quickly litter piled up right in our own backyard. For day one, we just got our hands dirty cleaning up our local area, but we knew that wasn't enough. On day two, we took to the streets for a route march to tell people face-to-face to stop dumping waste in nature and use dustbins. We realized real change starts locally before you can ask others to follow.
We split the work across two days to make a real dent. On day one, we hit the pavement ourselves, picking up plastic waste and cleaning up the messiest parts of the colony. The next day, we took what we gathered and did a route march, showing the community the actual scale of the problem. We talked to people directly, urging them to use bins instead of letting trash default into nature.
Combining jogging and cleanup on day one showed us just how much hidden plastic litters our daily paths. Heading out for a route march on day two let us channel that energy into direct action, talking to residents about using dustbins instead of dumping in nature. We realized people don't mean to litter; they just need visual reminders and convenient bins to break the habit.
