: Chorten Construction Service
We were inspired to volunteer in the construction of the Chorten as a meaningful way to serve our community and contribute to a place of spiritual and cultural significance. Over two days, we actively participated in shifting gravel, bricks, and sand, supporting the construction work through our collective efforts and teamwork. Throughout the activity, we demonstrated cooperation, dedication, and a strong sense of responsibility towards community service. The host, Lam Dorji Pham, generously provided us with lunch and refreshments, showing his appreciation for our voluntary contribution.
We spent two days at Lam Dorji Pham’s residence volunteering to support the construction of a Chorten. We worked together as a team to shift gravel, bricks, and sand needed for the construction. Everyone actively participated and shared the work with cooperation and dedication. The activity gave us an opportunity to practise teamwork, help others, and contribute to our community. The host, Lam Dorji Pham, kindly provided us with lunch and refreshments throughout the volunteer work.
Through this volunteer activity, I learned the importance of teamwork, cooperation, and hard work.I developed a stronger sense of responsibility towards helping others.
The experience taught me the value of selfless service and community participation.
I also gained a deeper appreciation for our cultural and spiritual traditions.Most importantly, I learned that even small contributions can make a meaningful difference in our community.
