Child Marriage: A Village Awareness Mission
Child marriage deprives girls of education, health, and freedom. Witnessing its impact in our communities, I am compelled to raise awareness and advocate for change. Through this project, I aim to empower girls to pursue their dreams and help end this harmful practice.
During 7th national COMDECA 2025 camp, which was held on 19/02/2025 to 24/02/2025. Bangladesh scouts organized interactive sessions to educate fellow scouts about the dangers of child marriage. they conducted role-plays, discussions, and displayed informative posters to engage participants. We the scouts went to the village houses to tell the Effects of child marriage. Collaborating with local organizations, we shared real-life stories to highlight the issue's impact.
Participating in the child marriage awareness project taught me the power of community engagement and education. I learned that informed discussions and creative activities can challenge harmful traditions, empower youth, and inspire collective action to protect children's rights. This experience strengthened my commitment to advocating for social change.
