Bleaching Spill Over Drive & Awareness Campaign

We were inspired after seeing stagnant water pooling around the neighborhood, creating perfect mosquito breeding grounds. We couldn't just sit by, so our team gathered, strapped awareness posters to our bicycles, and launched a cycle rally. Reaching the site, we geared up with masks and gloves to physically spread the bleaching powder, turning our concern into immediate, protective action.

We executed the project by gathering at the Scout Den, securing informational posters to our bicycles, and setting off on a cycle rally to the target area. Upon arrival, our team put on protective masks and gloves to ensure safety before carefully applying the bleaching powder to disinfect the public spaces. This active, visible approach allowed us to safely treat key areas while effectively drawing the community's attention to health and sanitation.

We learned that handling community sanitation requires strict discipline and preparation. Riding through the area with posters on our cycles caught people's attention, but the real impact happened when they saw us put on our masks and gloves to apply the bleaching powder safely. It taught us that public health initiatives are only effective when you lead by example and prioritize safety.
