As our senior was accompanying us where they told us that we gain lots of experiences through such kind of volunteer services and we can be a productive citizen through gaining lots of life skill capable to contribute to Nation building
The project was held at Pelgiri which is two hours walk up to the hill from the nearest motorable road. The journey started at 7 am in the morning after 61 of scouts gathered at the base of Cheri Monastery. We help the monks in transporting materials like metal roofing, plywood and bricks till Pelgir. We continue our service by transporting the stones to the construction. With teamwork and cooperation, we managed to complete the work. We also clean the surrounding area.
