Arab Scout Committee – ASC Induction project

The main objective is to prepare the newly elected members of the Arab Scout Committee and the Youth Advisors by providing them with an induction into their roles and responsibilities, as well as introducing them to the three-year plan for the region.
The project aims to equip committee members and Youth Advisors with the necessary knowledge and skills for their roles, as well as with an understanding of the three-year plan for the Arab Region. As part of this, a training workshop is planned in Cairo to strengthen the committee’s governance capacity, improve coordination, and prepare them for successful leadership across the Arab Region.
Structured induction for governance bodies at the start of a mandate One of the strongest best practices from this project is the early, structured induction of newly elected committee members and Youth Advisors at the beginning of their three-year term. The project brought all key decision-makers together in one intensive induction workshop to build a common understanding of roles, governance frameworks, working methods, Safe from Harm principles, and the regional three-year plan.
