“Act Now for a Peaceful World”
I was motivated by the thought that even small actions—whether a pledge, a cleanup, or a kind word—can ripple outward and bring about meaningful change.
My goal was to engage students, teachers, and the community in activities that would not only celebrate peace on this special day but also remind us of our shared responsibility to live peacefully every day. By doing so, I hoped to cultivate a culture where respect, responsibility, and compassion guide our actions.
Theme: “Act Now for a Peaceful World”
Activities:
• Peace Cleanup Champion Campaign
-A cleanup campaign to promote peace through care for the environment.
• Class Peace Pledges
-Each class commit to a Peace Pledge, outlining simple actions to foster harmony, respect, and kindness in their daily lives.
• Community Peace Pledges
-Community members share their Peace Pledges.
• Peace Talks
-Unit Leaders from Classes PP to X host Peace Talks on the theme “Act Now for a Peaceful World”
Through this project, I learned that peace is not just a theme we talk about once a year, but a practice we must live every day.
Most importantly, I discovered that young people, when guided and given the right platform, have the power to be true ambassadors of peace in their homes, schools, and society.
