The Scouts and Guides of Kohima, Nagaland participated in the 71st Indian Republic Day Celebration 2020 parade on 26th January, 2020 at Nagaland Secretariat Complex, Kohima. The Scouts and Guides participated in the March past along side the military, home guards, police personnels, NCC, school students in paying tribute and respect to our Nation which is celebrated across the country. The Scouts and Guides were reminded of their duties towards the nation as a responsible citizens. Many stalls were also set up by various departments of the Government for raising awareness of their presence and to raise awareness on various social and political issues which we should know. The Scouts and Guides contributed in the celebration through presence and service.
