Nazhoen-Nachung Cluster Camp

I was inspired to take part in this camp because it gave me an opportunity to connect with new Scouts, share my knowledge and help them develop their skills and confidence. I enjoyed guiding them, watching them learn and supporting them as they explored new challenges.

Through this experience, I improved my communication and social skills and built connections with Scouts across Thimphu. I also learned to work under different conditions and gained valuable knowledge and new skills from senior and experienced Scout Leaders. In future, I would make the camp even better by introducing more interactive and practical activities.

The camp was conducted as a mobile camp, with resource persons assigned to nine different learning stations. Nazhoen and Nachung Scouts of TTSA were divided into nine patrols and rotated between the stations every two hours. The activities included Driglam Namzha, rope work, drill, outdoor cooking, games, Scout orientation, adventure activities and jungle survival, providing Scouts with diverse hands-on learning experiences.
