Nachung Mobile Camp

I was inspired to organise this camp because I wanted to help young Scouts develop practical outdoor skills and build confidence. Seeing them learn new skills, overcome challenges and take pride in their achievements motivated me to share my knowledge and encourage them to support one another.

As a coordinator, I learned the importance of teamwork, cooperation and helping one another to make activities more efficient and productive. I also realised that having backup plans and being prepared for emergencies are essential for successfully managing a camp.

The camp was conducted at my school with 40 student participants and 10 Kuengaw Scouts who supported the programme. The participants were divided into four groups and rotated through four stations: first aid, drill, Scout orientation and rope work. The programme ran from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, beginning with a formal flag ceremony and concluding with a photo session, with lunch and refreshment breaks in between.
