On 21st September 2025, Orong Primary School joined the global family in celebrating International Peace Day under this year’s inspiring theme: “Act Now for a Peaceful World.” The day was filled with joy, energy, and meaningful activities led by the Orong Primary School Scout Leaders and enthusiastic Nachung Scouts. The celebration began with an aerobic session performed to the “Messenger of Peace” song, symbolizing unity, strength, and the importance of working together for a better tomorrow. With every move in rhythm, the young scouts conveyed the message that peace begins with individual actions and spreads through collective harmony. This was followed by a peace walk around the school premises and nearby community, where the scouts carried the message of peace through chants and banners. The walk served as a gentle reminder that peace is not just an idea but a practice that needs to be lived every day in homes, schools, and communities. The program not only encouraged students to reflect on the importance of peace but also empowered them to take small but significant steps toward building a more compassionate and inclusive world.
