The project was organised to officially welcome new Scouts and introduce them to the Scouting movement. Taking their Scout Promise and receiving their scarves gave them a sense of pride, belonging and excitement as they began their journey towards becoming future leaders of Scouting in Bhutan.

Through this programme, I learned the importance of keeping promises, taking pride in doing what is right and being part of a supportive team. It also strengthened my understanding of the values and responsibilities of Scouting.

The four-hour programme was conducted for newly enrolled Scouts from Classes PP and I, with the participation of adult Scout Leaders. It began with a welcome speech and included an oath-taking ceremony, Scout scarf presentation and an address by the School Scout Commissioner. The programme concluded with a photo session, marking a proud and memorable beginning to the young Scouts' journey.
