The World Aids Day was observed by our district on 1st of December 2014. The Awareness Campaign was inaugurated by District Chief Commissioner Shri. T. Ganesh (Dy.CMM/SD/ICF) in the presence of Shri. Mohanan (SM/VLK/SR) accompanied by district officials at Villivakkam railway station. The Campaign had consisted of Exhibition, Cycle rally, Mime show and Pamphlet distribution. The Campaign was started at 7 am in the morning and then the Cycle rally was flagged off by the Station Master of Villivakkam railway station, Shri. Mohanan (SM/VLK/SR). Almost 80 members of Leaders, Scouts, Rovers and Rangers were participated in the campaign. The Cycle rally with Rovers covered all the ICF and Villivakkam premises. Various Pamphlets were distributed during the rally and exhibition in regional, national & international languages. Mime shows were conducted in various public places like ICF workers gate, Villivakkam railway station. The Mime shows were appreciated hugely by the public. . Almost 5000 people has been witnessed during the awareness campaign.
