Working for a safer environment.
I brought up this idea of cleaning campaign because many people don't give heed to the waste in our surroundings. Therefore,if we could atleast do something to show that it is possible, people could realize that anything is possible with team work. Some people say it is unhealthy to be picking up the waste ,so if there's no one to pick these waste ,who will? That's why ,as scouts we have to be ready . And it's also a tribute to our Gyalsay for his 7th birth anniversary.
We started cleaning the areas where scouts were divided. We cleaned the town areas and picked up all the waste. All youth leaders along with the volunteers worked hard for the day go make our areas ckean and it was successful.
As of our area, more than 400 people could benefit from it as a waste free place is a disease free place. So many elderly and weak children are also safe from many diseases.
I learned that by initiating this program, many people are interested to sponsor for the youth. If the youths are willing to do, people are willing to offer necessary refreshments. The elderly people were also proud of us and we're praising us. They said that they feel at ease in clean areas and that they were happy to see that atleast some are still up for cleaning the dusty and dirty areas. I can improve and implement more ideas by realizing on this project.
