Vitamin A+ campaign 2025
Bogura Polytechnic Institute Rover Scout Group actively contributes to child health by ensuring vitamin A supplementation for underprivileged children. Our community service impacts local residents, emphasizing collective well-being. Additionally, we raise maternal awareness about vitamin A's significance. Our commitment reflects dedication to public health and community service.
Our unit actively participated in the Vitamin A Plus Campaign held on March 14, 2025, at Bogura Sadar. With careful planning and dedication, we carried out awareness activities and assisted in the smooth administration of Vitamin A supplements. Through our volunteer efforts, we aimed to support child health and raise awareness within the community about the importance of proper nutrition.
As part of the initiative, Scouts received training on the Expanded Program on Immunization (EPI) and the importance of Vitamin A supplementation. During the campaign, Red Vitamin A capsules were administered to children aged over 12 months up to 5 years, while Blue capsules were given to infants aged 6 months to under 12 months. This program aimed to enhance immunity and reduce the risk of preventable childhood diseases.
