Vaccination Volunteer Service-2025
As a Rover Scout, I believe in helping my community whenever there is a need. When I heard about the vaccination program, I felt a strong sense of responsibility to support the health workers and serve mothers and children. I was inspired by the idea that even small acts of volunteering can help protect lives and improve public health. My motivation came from my Scout promise — to help others and make a positive impact in society.
I, along with six other Rover Scouts from Metropolitan University, volunteered at a local health center to support a government vaccination program. We assisted with registration, guided mothers and children, managed queues, and coordinated with healthcare staff to ensure smooth and effective service delivery.
Through this project, I gained a deeper understanding of how public health programs operate and the role volunteers can play in supporting them. I developed skills in communication, crowd management, and teamwork. It also reinforced the value of serving the community with empathy, discipline, and responsibility.
