STUPA BEAUTIFICATION

I was deeply motivated and inspired by our local leader, Drasho Drungpa, who has always been a positive role model in our community. His dedication, leadership, and commitment to serving others encouraged me to become more responsible and confident in my own actions. I was also greatly inspired by many Scout Leaders whose guidance, support, and valuable teachings helped me understand the true spirit of Scouting.

We were informed by our local leaders to carry out beautification work at our local public Chorten (Stupa). With great enthusiasm, I gathered active Scout members from my school, and together we planned and implemented the project. Our work included planting flowers and ornamental plants, constructing flower beds and pots around the Chorten, cutting grass, cleaning the surroundings, and washing the structures to improve the overall appearance of the area.

The project took nearly ten days to complete. During this time, we worked under the scorching sun and usually returned home only in the evening after a full day of effort. Although the work was physically challenging, we remained committed and worked as a team. Local residents also supported us throughout the project by encouraging us and offering refreshments. This experience taught us the value of teamwork, perseverance, and community service, and it strengthened our sense of responsibility toward our community.

The project improved the cleanliness and appearance of the local Chorten, making it more welcoming and peaceful for the community. It also strengthened unity as local residents supported our work, and it helped us develop teamwork, discipline, and a stronger sense of responsibility through community

From this project, I learned that when all citizens cooperate and work together, we can turn even the most difficult challenges into achievements. It taught me the importance of teamwork, unity, and collective responsibility in bringing positive change to our community. As the saying goes, "United we stand, divided we fall." When we support one another and work towards a common goal, nothing is impossible.
