Smiles of the Hungry"
The hungry people will benefit from receiving a meal.
* The privileged people in society will become more compassionate towards the helpless.
* Scout members will learn more about the importance of humanity and service.
For Reporting on scout.org:
* Mention the project's details, objective, activities, number of beneficiaries, and dates.
* Collect funds with your Scout group or friends, or use your personal initiative to gather some money.
* Use the collected money to buy cooked food or dry food (e.g., bread, vegetables, eggs, fruits, biscuits).
* Distribute the food during lunchtime to rickshaw pullers, van drivers, day laborers, and other helpless people on the streets.
* While distributing the food, interact with them empathetically and try to learn about their needs.
My projects taught me the importance of compassion, quick decision-making, and self-reliance. I learned that even small, individual actions can create a significant positive impact and build a better community.
