SgS on 3rd TUSN Scout Jamboree

This initiative is supported by the Global Youth Mobilization, funded by the European Union, reflecting international collaboration in strengthening youth capacity as key drivers of positive change for society and the world. The Scout Go Solar activity is therefore not only about learning clean energy, but also serves as a platform to inspire young people to become changemakers for a more sustainable future.
The programme was led and facilitated by trained youth Scouts who have successfully completed the Scout Go Solar National Co-ordinator training. The activities were structured to provide both theoretical knowledge and hands-on experience in renewable energy, particularly solar energy. Key activity stations included Solar Cooking, Solar Energy, and Solar Art, allowing participants to explore practical applications of solar power in creative and everyday contexts.
Participants gained essential knowledge and hands-on experience in solar energy and its practical applications through interactive activities. The project enhanced environmental awareness, while also strengthening leadership, teamwork, and problem-solving skills among Scout youth. It also demonstrated the effectiveness of youth-led, peer-to-peer learning in promoting sustainable practices.
