Sea Beach Cleaning and Awareness Campaign
Witnessing the increasing amount of plastic and waste scattered across the sea beach. I realized that this pollution not only spoils the natural beauty of the coast but also threatens marine animals, birds, and even human health. As a scout and a responsible citizen, I felt the need to take action rather than just observe the problem. Cleaning the beach and raising awareness among people gave me a chance to protect marine life, inspire others, and contribute to building a sustainable future.
To contribute to the conservation of marine life and a cleaner environment, we organized a beach cleaning activity at Kattali Sea Beach. The activity focused on removing plastic waste, bottles, polythene, and other non-biodegradable materials from the sea beach. Alongside cleaning, we also spread awareness among local visitors about the harmful effects of plastic on marine ecosystems and encouraged them to keep the beach clean.
