The beginning of this year Minister of Health announced to the Nation about shortage of blood in the blood banks and pleaded to the nation to help them by donating blood.Botswana Scouts responded positively on the 04 January 2018,to the plea through Scout Bakang who spearheaded the campaign to mobilise the Scouts for donation which took place on the 13 January 2018. During this activity more than 53 Scouts participated in the donation, hence that alone sensitized other organisation to come for the National plea; for example; the Soldiers for the country and Botswana taxi Association were motivated to donate.
