in order to mark the world health day Uganda Scouts Association managed to donate 200 mosquito nets to 200 families in Mbale slums which is the second biggest slum and with the highest number of expectant mothers that do not sleep under mosquito treated nets. In our ability to reduce malaria we managed to sensitize the community on dangers of not sleeping under a treated net and cleaning dirty water around their homes.
