"To help other people" only a section of the world scout promise. On the 17th of July 2017 approximately 8 barrels of food items collected and donated from 3 locations, approximately 280 hampers organized by Cubs, Scouts, Ventures, Leaders, Parents, NSC and HQC scouts of 3rd Trinidad sea scouts for distribution back to needy citizens. This was all part of the main project 'Scouting for Food' initiated by ScoutsTT in 2016. After the collection and packing the scouts took to the streets of South Trinidad to distribute to the needy citizens as well as those who were recently afflicted by flooding of a nearby river throughout the week.Loading of hampers into various vehicles, 33 members Cubs, scouts, Ventures, Leaders, Parents delivered to 28 household, in poverty and flood stricken areas in Debe area.Heavy rain and mud didn't stop us from putting smiles on the faces of many poverty and flood stricken families.
