Scout Care, Scout Advocates for Greener Community

I was inspired to start this project by the need to keep our community clean and green. Seeing waste scattered around such a sacred and public area motivated us to take action, not only to protect the environment but also to set an example of responsibility and service as scouts. My goal was to create awareness and encourage others to care for the surroundings we all share.

We carried out a 3 km waste collection campaign from Autsho Stupa to the workshop area through the Autsho town. Scouts worked in groups to pick up litter, plastics, and other waste along the route, ensuring no area was left unattended. The collected pet bottles and cans are properly stored in store for further recycling. By the end, the entire stretch was cleaned, leaving a cleaner and more pleasant environment for the community.

Through this project, I learned the value of teamwork and responsibility in keeping our surroundings clean. It taught me that leadership and cooperation make difficult tasks easier and more enjoyable. I also realized the importance of respecting nature, managing waste properly, and practicing sustainable habits like reducing, reusing, and recycling. Most importantly, the project showed me that even small efforts can create a big impact on the community and environment.
