"Rovers for child health: Vitamin A campaign 2025"

My inspiration for the "Rovers for Child Health: Vitamin A Campaign 2025" project was multifaceted. As a Rover, the scouting commitment to community service fundamentally guided me. Additionally, understanding the critical public health impact of Vitamin A deficiency on children's health, particularly in Sylhet, provided a strong impetus. The opportunity to directly contribute to a vital initiative like the National Vitamin 'A' Plus Campaign and make a tangible difference in the well-being.
My project, "Rovers for Child Health: Vitamin A Campaign 2025," was executed through direct participation in the National Vitamin 'A' Plus Campaign on March 15, 2025. I served as a volunteer in Ward No. 36 of Sylhet City Corporation, focusing on the administration of Vitamin 'A' capsules to eligible children under the guidelines of the Directorate General of Health Services. My responsibilities included to feed the children vitamin A capsules, accurate distribution of the supplements.
Throughout the "Rovers for Child Health: Vitamin A Campaign 2025," I learned several key lessons. Foremost was the critical role of community trust and awareness in ensuring high participation in public health initiatives. Secondly, the project highlighted the paramount importance of logistical efficiency and strict adherence to protocols for the successful execution of mass campaigns.
