On the occasion of Eid-UL-Fitr 2016, rover scouts have been deployed at different points in Dhaka city to ensure smooth movement of homebound people. On July 1, 2016 Mr. Abul Kalam Azad, President of Bangladesh Scouts and Mr. Dr.Md. Mozammel Haque Khan, Chief National Commissioner of Bangladesh Scouts were present at an orientation program with road volunteer rovers. More than 500 rovers volunteered on the road daily from July 1 until the day before Eid.
