Persekutuan Pengakap Negara Brunei Darussalam (PPNBD) participated in Earth Hour celebration organised by Earth Hour Brunei at the Taman Mahkota Jubli Emas (as the focal point location) and the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Hajah Saleha Bridge. Brunei Darussalam joined the rest of the world in participating in the global initiative, switching off their lights for an hour last night alongside the Yayasan Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Complex and Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Mosque and Mabohai Shopping Complex.

Here in Brunei Darussalam, Earth Hour is connecting the dots between climate change and biodiversity, and focus on forest and energy/climate action. Brunei Scouts also join hand in hand supporting the global cause and initiative. It is hope that this will create more awareness to the community that actions is needed now.
