"One Tree, One Hope—Let’s Green the Globe"

On February 25, 2025, we organized a tree-planting project at Gurudayal Government College to create a greener environment. After selecting planting spots and gathering native saplings, a team of students and staff raised awareness through sessions and campaigns. On the event day, participants planted the trees and ensured proper care. We also set up a system for regular monitoring to ensure the trees’ growth, making a positive impact on both the campus and the environment.
Through the tree-planting project, I contributed to enhancing the environment at Gurudayal Government College by adding greenery and improving air quality. The initiative raised awareness about the importance of trees, encouraging the community to adopt more sustainable practices. This project not only beautified the campus but also fostered a sense of environmental responsibility among students and staff.
The tree-planting project taught me the importance of teamwork, careful planning, and community involvement. I gained a deeper understanding of how trees help combat climate change and improve the environment. It was a valuable experience that showed how collective action can make a positive impact on nature.
