Global Handwashing Day is an annual global advocacy day dedicated to increasing awareness and understanding about the importance of handwashing with soap as an easy,effective and affordable way to prevent diseases an save lives.We celebrated this day on October 15 to encourage students to wash their hands with soap at critical times.On this day first i explained the importance of handwashing.Then our Principle distributed handwash liquid to scouts and guides.I demonstrate them how to wash their hands in proper way.Scouts also pledge to raise awareness about the benefits of handwashing with soap in their surroundings.
