Free Kidney testing and health Checkup medical camp was organized by The Bharat Scouts and Guides, Mattathur Service rover crew, Irinjalakuda District, Kerala and Mattathur Pravasi Association, in Association with Santhi Medical Information Centre. The medical camp started at 6.30 am with a warm welcome speech by Mr. K.D.Jayaprakash ( DOC, Irinjalakuda Distrcit, Thrissur, Kerala) followed by a prayer song by Rovers. 18 Rovers of Mattathur Service rover crew and 20 Scouts and Guides from Mattathur Sree Krishna High school as a full fledged team done the registration and issue of medical card to the beneficiaries who attended the medical camp. Health Check-up & Lab diagnosis was done by the Santhi Medical Information Centre, Guruvayur, Kerala. Totally 2 Doctors and Lab technicians came from Santhi Medical Information Centre for the Camp. Mobile Laboratory were present to do health checkup as well as Kidney Test which were provided by the Santhi Medical Information centre. Mattathur Service Rovers Crew Provided Break fast for the Beneficiaries who attended the medical camp and Break fast ,Lunch, dinner and Snacks, for the doctors, Lab technicians and Scouts & Guides. Mattathur Pravasi Association were arranged the Santhi Medical Information Centre for kidney test, doctors and medicine. Nearby 300 adults were benefited through this camp. Through the medical camp they found 13 adults has problem in their kidney functioning, they suggest for more detailed diagnosis. Santhi medical Information centre will be following up the future treatment for these 13 adults. Medicines for the needy people were distributed at the camp itself. The Second day after kidney testing and health check, 2.30 afternoon started a seminar on “Kideny Disease and food habit” . The Seminar started at sharp 2.30 pm with a welcome speech by Sivan Muriyattil, Rover Leader Mattathur Service Rover Crew. The Seminar inaugurated by Pudukad MLA Prof. C Ravindaranath. The Seminar Leaded by Mr. Majo Johny Co-ordinator of Santhi medical Information Centre. The Seminar Presided over by Mr. Sugathan Thandasery , President of Mattathur Pravasi Association and vote of thanks by Mr.C.Chandrababu Secretary of Mattathur Pravasi Association. Mr. K.D.Jayaprakash, Group Leader of Mattahur Open Scout Group and DOC Irinjalakuda Disctrict, Co-ordinate the event. The medical camp ended at 5.30 pm,13-09-2015
