Hands for peace.
The project was inspired by our deep desire to contribute to peace, harmony, and community well-being. We believed that even small acts—like raising prayer flags and whitewashing the temple—could carry powerful meaning, reminding us that peace begins with service and respect for our shared spaces. With this spirit, we came together to turn intention into action. " The best way to find your self is to lose your self in the service of others".
We executed the project by digging and cementing a hole to host the prayer flags and by cleaning the temple walls through whipping off the old whitewash.
Through this project, we learned the value of teamwork, responsibility, and the joy of serving our community. Digging and cementing the hole for the prayer flags taught us patience and coordination, while cleaning the temple reminded us of the importance of preserving our cultural and spiritual heritage. Most importantly, we realized that small efforts, when done together, can create a meaningful impact and bring people closer in the spirit of peace and harmony.
