Hajj Camp Service Moments-2024

My commitment to serving the Hajj Passengers at the 2024 Hajj camp stems directly from the Scout pledge to help self, country, and others. I believe that assisting others brings blessings, reinforcing my dedication to this vital service.

I dedicated May 22-27 to volunteering at the Ashkona Hajj Camp near Dhaka Airport, facilitating the smooth processing of over 5,000 Hajj pilgrims. As a shift in-charge for six-hour shifts, totally i working 10 shifts with my responsibilities included verifying pilgrim identities at key entry points (Main Gate, Gate 1, Gate 2) and managing office operations, including coordinating and distributing duties for over 50 Rover Scouts.

Serving Hajj pilgrims through this project deeply connected me to the Scout Promise, "Always to help others." Our team's collective efforts ensured each of the peoples at the Hajj camp received essential information, safeguarding both them and their belongings. We also effectively supported defense forces, including the police, in their operational tasks.
