Free Typhoid Vaccine Registration & Awareness Camp

We were inspired to start this project because many children in our community are at risk of Typhoid, yet their parents are often unaware of the importance of timely vaccination. We wanted to ensure that children aged 9 months to 15 years receive proper protection, and families can easily access free registration and vaccine cards. As Scouts, we felt a responsibility to safeguard the health of our community and contribute to the SDG goal of Good Health and Well-being.
We organized a two-day Typhoid Vaccine Registration Camp at Haat Khola High School, working four hours each day. Our Scout team registered children aged 9 months to 15 years and provided free vaccine cards. We guided parents, created awareness about vaccination, and ensured smooth participation with local health support.
Through this project, we learned the importance of teamwork and coordination in serving the community. We realized how proper planning and time management can make health services more effective. We also understood the value of helping children and families access basic healthcare facilities and how volunteering builds responsibility and leadership among us.
