Food for Tomorrow Trinidad and Tobago Football Tournament

Food for Tomorrow is a Messengers of Peace Project started by 8 Scout leaders at Interamerican Leadership Training in 2015 in Guatemala. Food for Tomorrow in Trinidad and Tobago, led by myself, hosted a Football Tournament where each participant would have to bring a can of food/ a pack of flour or rice/ 2 packs of macaroni/ some non-perishable food item and a small fee to play. There were 10 participating teams with each team consisting of 5 people. I advertised, organized, set the field and was a referee for the event. A lot of food was raised which would be made into food hampers to be distributed to the less fortunate people in Trinidad and Tobago and awareness was raised on the problem of hunger and on the project. Food for Tomorrow's goal is to reduce hunger in the world.
