First Round Mass Cleaning Campaign
I often hear the great leaders talking about Climate action and I also learn in my silence subject how to keep our environment clean and how it has positive impact on our life . Hence, it inspired me to take small actions at a local level to keep our environment clean and green .
We, Scout as a whole conducted our first mass cleaning campaign on 26th of April. Our scout leaders divided into different groups and areas. I have involved myself in picking papers, cutting grasses and burning the pits. The cleaning was also done outside school premises like hospital, check post, town area and the public ground. The theme was, “Clean Community, Clean Bhutan”.
It benefitted the whole community of Jomotsangkha Dungkhag and made the surrounding clean .
I have learned how to keep our environment safe and pollution free. I would make it better by creating awareness to the community to take part in such kind of campaign.
