The Israeli Boy & Girls Scouts Federation – the organization unifying scouts from all sectors
of the Israeli society – operates for many years the "Living Together Circles" program –
activities bringing together scouts in 9 th grade from all sectors of the Israeli society.
Building on the success of the program, this year we are launching for the first time a
seminar for 10 th -11 th grade scouts, in which we will explore further the idea of living together
and building a better society.
The 100 scouts will participate in joint activities focusing on topics related to co-existence
and youth's ability to bring about social change; will get to know the "Messengers of Peace"
program of the World Organization of Scouts, and participate in practical joint volunteering
communal activity in the city of Shfar'am.
The activity will culminate in a symbolic ceremony. at the end of it the participants will be
awarded a unique ties and certificates of WOSM - World Organization of Scouts Movement.
During the year the participants are expected to execute additional joint communal projects,
and a group of them will represent Israel in a global scouts' summer camp abroad.
