Emergency assistance for milestone plane crash

Following the tragic plane crash at Milestone College, several injured people, including students, were severely burned and injured. I volunteered at the National Institute of Burns and Plastic Surgery to assist the victims and their families. My role as a Scout volunteer was to provide assistance, emotional support and basic care during this critical time.
Witnessing the pain and trauma of the victims of the accident deeply moved me. I wanted to stand by those who were struggling to recover and show them that they were not alone. This initiative was about spreading humanity and comfort beyond just material help.
This experience taught me the value of empathy and emotional intelligence in times of crisis. I learned how to build a strong support system by working as a team between volunteers, medical staff, and families. It reinforced the importance of Scouts' service in real-world emergencies.
